Description:
See what's going on on your DiskStation at a glance. Monitor Temperatures, System Load, Network- and Storage I/O throughput, Memory utilization, Internet speed and manage Fan settings.
Changelog:
Version 2.0.2 :
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-005:
- After upgrading the DSM, AvrLogger no longer starts because a symbolic link has not been renewed.
- Status report crashed when a USB drive is present.
- Changes to the installed RAM were not recognized.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-004:
- Unfortunately, the CPU temperatures were not displayed on some models.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-003:
- If settings were changed before 10 values were in the database, AvrLogger crashed.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-002:
- A bug caused that the scemd.xml could not be extracted if the file path contained a space.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-001:
- Changes of daylight saving time was ignored in the timeline.
- Automatic scaling added to Status-Report and Alert-Chart.
- Notification emails were sometimes not sent if the content contained a quotation mark.
- In the "Alert" section, the "Alert Email to" setting could not be changed.
- Integration of the notification service "PushBullet" improved :
- The DiskStation is registered as a device and can be recognized as the sender of a notification.
- The list of known devices is determined and a recipient can be selected from it.
- The SpeedTest is now an integral part of "AvrLogger". Installation is no longer necessary.
- Folder and file handling integrated :
Wherever a directory or file could previously be specified manually, the selection is now made
via the graphical user interface.
- The DataBase is no longer deleted if the number of expected values or the number format is incorrect,
but is now brought up to date.

Important:
- Settings in "Manage" can only be saved in shared folders. The settings from "Config-0" to "Config-4"
are only available in this version and will be lost with a later update without backup.

- Fan control "completely" newly implemented :
- The fan control "must" be initialized before the first use.
A firmware PAT file suitable for the DiskStation and the DSM is downloaded from the Synology
server, including the MD5 hash file and verification.
The original "scemd.xml" file is extracted from the PAT file. This is for reference and
can be used at any time to restore the "scemd.xml" file on the DiskStation.
- AvrLogger carries out several plausibility checks before each change to ensure that the
"scemd.xml" file is always error-free.
However, there is no guarantee that AvrLogger will not contain bugs :
<< Any use of the fan control is expressly done at your own risk. >>
- Changes are made immediately after clicking the "Save" button. No matter whether AvrLogger is in
Hibernation mode or has been deactivated via the Package Center.
- The scope of the setting options has been expanded, in addition to the fan speeds, the temperature
thresholds can now be changed.

The following Synology models are not supported by fan control:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
- DS111, DS112j, DS114, DS115, DS115j, DS116, DS119j, DS120j

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
-002:
- A symbolic link was not created / renewed correctly.

Hi, I've got a RS2418+ and after installing the 10GBe network card, the fans are factory stuck in "full" mode - is there any tweaks you can think of to manually change the fan speed out of full mode? Thanks!

Try the latest version. It contains a lot of improvements and the plot generation has been accelerated.

In the version 1.0.2-008 an error has crept in that causes the AvrLogger to exit when changes are made in the plot config. An error-corrected version 1.0.2-009 has been uploaded and only needs to be released.
    I apologize for the inconvenience.

    Greetings, BigRonin
