Recent activity, press article and upcoming DSM 5.0

Although we didn't write much recently, we have been very busy. The interest in cphub has increased steadily and so we are improving server and backend to keep up with the demand. If you encounter issues, please contact us. We also fixed some smaller bugs in the frontend.

As Eric noted in his blog, the popular German IT magazine "c't" indirectly published our work by making a screenshot of our software in the DSM Package Center. We hope this will futher push our project and help spread the word what great software we have to share!

Lastly, Synology is inviting everyone to their DSM 5.0 launch events around the world! We are eager to see what they will present.

Hi, DSM 5.0 doesn't like the ddns updater 1.27 with the 3rd party app 1.6. Any fixes upcoming ? DSM 4.3 and previous versions of ddns updater has worked fine. / Peter

Please update to the Perl version that Synology just uploaded and update init_3rd-party to version 1.7 (which you will find here at the Showcase-page of init_3rd-party under the "beta"-tag).

packages cleanup - owncloud for instance.
since the owncloud package is not maintained any more and the release has security issues i think it's better to pull it from this site. especially since synocommunity has it too but with a more active dev backing.
imho not good to lead ppl into download the ol release without maintainers....
is there any other package discontinued?
