Ok.. executed your cmd's but when i try to open the webmin page (localhost:10000) no login page is shown (unable to connect).
Oh and when you untick the run option during install you do indeed see the message.

after the installation, you see the messagebox with the text "This package has been successfully installed...." Below this text there is another text with a warning and the login/pass for webmin. See the screenshot: http://www.cphub.net/images/webmin_after_installation.png

There are some issues on diskstations with powerpc and the buildin synology perl. The miniserv.pl crashed if you want to login. I work on a solution, that detect a ipkg perl and if available use it. You can do the following steps, if your ds have a powerpc and ipkg perl installed:
    - install webmin package, dont run after installation!
    - login to shell as root and execute the lines:
    cd /volume1/@appstore/webmin/bin
    (find . -name '*.cgi' -print ; find . -name '*.pl' -print) | perl "perlpath.pl" /opt/bin/perl -
**this cmd switch from /usr/bin/perl to /opt/bin/perl
    - start webmin package in package center

On my ds409+, i'm still unable to login.. Even with admin admin. Oh and during installation no message appeared saying that it's admin admin.
When i attempt to login with admin admin the next page simply says that the page cannot be displayed.
Is there something else webmin needs to be installed?

The initial login and password are "admin" and "admin"
This were in the messagebox after installation of this package. I wonder why nobody reads this important message.
